Acceptance of These Terms
By requesting or confirming an SB CAB booking through the website, telephone, WhatsApp or another accepted communication channel, the customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions and to the trip-specific details communicated during booking.
If a trip-specific written quotation or confirmation contains conditions that differ from general information shown on the website, the confirmed trip details should be reviewed carefully before payment or travel.
Scope of Taxi Services
SB CAB provides or coordinates taxi requirements including one-way intercity travel, round trips/outstation journeys, airport transfers and local taxi services. Availability can depend on city, route, date, pickup time, vehicle category and operational conditions.
- A service shown on the website does not guarantee availability for every date or location.
- Customers should provide complete and accurate trip details.
- Special requirements should be communicated before confirmation.
Booking, Enquiry & Confirmation
Submitting a website form, clicking a booking button or sending a WhatsApp enquiry starts a booking request. It is not automatically a confirmed reservation.
When is a booking confirmed?
A booking is considered confirmed when SB CAB communicates confirmation of the vehicle/trip and the customer completes any advance or other condition specifically required for that booking.
- The customer must verify pickup city, destination, date, pickup time, passenger count and cab category.
- The mobile number supplied should remain reachable before pickup.
- Incorrect details may cause delay, fare revision or inability to perform the requested service.
Fare, Website Prices & Quotations
Route prices shown on SB CAB pages are intended for the route and vehicle category stated on that page. A fare may require reconfirmation where the journey details differ from the standard route or where additional requirements are requested.
- Do not assume that a fare shown for one route applies to another route.
- Where a vehicle displays “Confirm Fare” or similar wording, the price is not fixed until communicated by SB CAB.
- Extra pickup/drop points, detours, waiting, itinerary changes or additional travel may affect the final amount.
- Toll, parking, permit, entry or other trip-specific charges may be separate where stated or applicable.
Always review the final trip quotation. The customer should confirm what is included and excluded before paying an advance.
Payment, Advance & Balance Amount
SB CAB may request an advance to reserve a cab, particularly for outstation, airport, early-morning, peak-date or long-distance bookings. The required amount and payment method may vary by booking.
- Any required advance should be paid only through the payment details communicated by SB CAB.
- The remaining amount is payable according to the booking confirmation.
- A customer should keep payment proof until the trip is completed.
- Bank/payment-provider processing time or charges are outside SB CAB's direct control.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation conditions can depend on how close the cancellation is to the scheduled pickup, whether a vehicle/driver has already been allocated or dispatched, and whether SB CAB has incurred booking-specific costs.
| Cancellation Situation | General Treatment |
|---|---|
| Before vehicle/driver allocation | Any applicable refund or deduction will be communicated based on the booking and costs already incurred. |
| After vehicle/driver allocation | A cancellation charge or advance deduction may apply. |
| Vehicle already dispatched / near pickup | The advance may be non-refundable and additional incurred costs may be payable where applicable. |
| Customer no-show | Booking may be treated as cancelled after reasonable contact/waiting attempts; advance may be forfeited. |
| Special / peak / long-distance booking | Booking-specific cancellation conditions communicated at confirmation may apply. |
Cancellation request
Customers should cancel as early as possible by contacting SB CAB on +91 90238 32227. A cancellation is effective when the request is received and acknowledged by SB CAB, not merely when a customer attempts to send it.
Important: SB CAB does not state a universal fixed percentage cancellation fee on this page because the actual deduction can depend on the specific booking. Any booking-specific cancellation charge should be communicated during confirmation or cancellation handling.
Refund Policy
If a refund is approved, the refundable amount is determined after considering the booking status, applicable cancellation conditions and costs already incurred for the reservation.
- Approved refunds should ordinarily be returned using an available payment method agreed with the customer.
- Payment gateway, bank or UPI processing can affect when funds appear in the customer's account.
- Any non-refundable amount or deduction should be explained when the cancellation/refund is processed.
- A refund is not automatically due merely because the customer does not use a confirmed cab after the vehicle has been reserved or dispatched.
Waiting Time, Late Pickup & Customer Delay
Customers should be ready at the confirmed pickup point at the agreed time. Where the passenger is delayed, extended waiting can affect the driver's schedule and may lead to waiting charges, itinerary changes or cancellation where the delay becomes unreasonable.
Pickup time is an operational estimate and can be affected by traffic, weather, road restrictions, preceding trip conditions or other circumstances. SB CAB should communicate material delays when reasonably possible.
Toll, Parking, Permit, Entry & Additional Charges
Unless a confirmed quotation expressly states that a charge is included, tolls, parking, permit fees, state/municipal entry charges and similar trip-specific expenses may be payable separately by the customer.
Customers should ask what is included in the quoted amount if the trip involves airports, paid parking, restricted zones, interstate travel or multiple destinations.
Route Changes, Extra Stops & Trip Modifications
A confirmed fare is based on the journey details agreed at booking. Changes requested after confirmation can change the fare.
- Additional pickup or drop locations may attract extra charges.
- Major detours or destination changes require driver/SB CAB approval.
- Extra kilometres, hours or travel days may be charged according to the revised trip.
- The driver may use a practical alternative route because of traffic, road closure, safety or local restrictions.
Passenger Count & Customer Responsibilities
The customer must provide a realistic passenger count and choose a suitable vehicle. Passengers must comply with lawful vehicle capacity and safety requirements.
- Do not request carriage beyond lawful or safe seating capacity.
- Children and accompanying adults remain the responsibility of the booking customer/guardian.
- Customers should disclose unusually large luggage or special requirements before booking.
- The booking customer is responsible for communicating relevant trip conditions to accompanying passengers.
Luggage & Personal Belongings
Luggage must fit safely within the selected vehicle without obstructing the driver or compromising passenger safety. Excessive, oversized, hazardous or prohibited items may be refused.
Customers should select a larger vehicle where passenger count plus luggage makes a smaller cab unsuitable.
Vehicle Category, Substitution & Driver Assignment
Bookings are generally made by vehicle category such as Sedan, SUV/Ertiga or Innova Crysta. Unless a specific vehicle is expressly confirmed, photos and example model names on the website may represent the category rather than guarantee a particular registration number, colour or exact model.
If an assigned vehicle becomes unavailable because of an operational problem, SB CAB may attempt to arrange a suitable alternative. Any material change should be communicated when reasonably possible.
Airport Pickup & Drop Conditions
For airport bookings, customers should provide the correct airport, terminal where relevant, flight timing and a reachable mobile number.
- Flight delays or major schedule changes should be communicated promptly.
- Airport parking or access charges may apply separately unless included in the quotation.
- Passengers should allow sufficient travel time for airport drop; road conditions and security/check-in requirements are outside SB CAB's control.
Local Taxi Package Conditions
Local packages may be defined by a combination of hours and kilometres. The customer should check the package limit and any extra-hour, extra-kilometre, parking or other applicable charge before confirmation.
If a local journey changes into an outstation/intercity requirement, the applicable trip structure and fare may need to be revised.
Round Trip & Multi-Day Conditions
Round-trip pricing depends on the confirmed itinerary, vehicle, travel days and applicable running/usage conditions. The website intentionally does not provide a universal public round-trip calculator.
Customers should communicate all planned destinations and travel days. Material itinerary changes during the journey may alter the final charge.
One-Way Taxi Conditions
One-way service is designed for a direct journey ending at the booked destination. Dedicated route-page fares apply only to the stated origin, destination, vehicle category and normal trip conditions unless otherwise confirmed.
Extra stops, route deviations, waiting or a change to a return journey can require a revised quotation.
Vehicle Breakdown, Accident or Operational Disruption
Mechanical problems, accidents or unexpected operational events can occur despite reasonable preparation. If the booked vehicle cannot continue, SB CAB may attempt to arrange a replacement or alternative solution depending on location and availability.
Replacement timing cannot always be guaranteed, particularly in remote locations or during unusual conditions.
Delays, Missed Connections & Limitation of Responsibility
Customers should allow appropriate buffer time for flights, trains, appointments and other time-sensitive connections. Travel duration can be affected by traffic, weather, road closures, police restrictions, accidents, public events and other circumstances.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
Passenger Conduct, Safety & Refusal of Service
Passengers must behave lawfully and must not threaten, abuse, distract or endanger the driver or other passengers. The driver/SB CAB may refuse or discontinue service where continuing the journey would be unlawful or create a genuine safety risk.
- No illegal goods or unlawful activity.
- No deliberate damage to the vehicle.
- Cleaning or repair costs may be claimed where a passenger causes exceptional soiling or damage.
- Passengers must follow reasonable safety instructions.
Lost Property
Passengers are responsible for checking their belongings before leaving the vehicle. If an item is reported missing, SB CAB can make reasonable efforts to contact the relevant driver and locate it, but recovery cannot be guaranteed.
Any reasonable delivery/courier cost for returning recovered property may be payable by the customer.
Customer Contact & Booking Information
SB CAB may use information supplied during an enquiry or booking—such as name, mobile number, pickup location, destination and trip details—to respond to the enquiry, coordinate the requested service and communicate about the booking.
Customers should not send unnecessary sensitive personal information through booking forms or WhatsApp.
Events Beyond Reasonable Control
Service may be delayed, modified or prevented by circumstances outside reasonable operational control, including severe weather, floods, road closure, strikes, government restrictions, civil disturbance, major accidents or other exceptional events. SB CAB will attempt reasonable communication and alternatives where practical.
Complaints, Billing Questions & Disputes
If there is a concern about a fare, driver, vehicle, cancellation or completed journey, contact SB CAB promptly with the booking mobile number, route, date and relevant details so the matter can be reviewed.
The parties should first attempt to resolve the matter through direct communication. Any rights and remedies available under applicable Indian law remain subject to the relevant legal framework and jurisdiction.
Changes to These Terms
SB CAB may update these Terms & Conditions as services, website features or operating practices change. The version published on this page at the time of booking should be reviewed together with the specific trip confirmation.
